↓ ↑ Uranium City was once a booming mining town of 5000 in the far north of Saskatchewan. The mines are long gone, but a few people have stayed (79 at last census) despite the extreme isolation. These residents make UCity a community that is vibrant despite what it seems at first glance. These photos were taken with the generous support of the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation.
